Yep, more of those...
Randy informed me today that he would take the front seat out of the Nova so that he could work up under the dash. Now, if you have ever worked under the dash of your car (think changing a blown fuse, or installing a stereo), you KNOW how uncomfortable it is to wedge yourself between the dash, pedals, steering column and seat. Did I mention upside down?
But how many times did we consider that it would be easier to take the seat OUT of the car to make the job easier. Only a car guy - one who has had the seats out of the car about 4 times since he built it - would not even think twice before reaching for a wrench and socket.
And yes, Randy's Nova has more parts installed. You will have to wait until "spring" really arrives before he brings it out... on second thought, with open headers, you will probably hear him start it up all the way from town...
How about you? Got any "You know you're a car guy when..." moments to share with the rest of us?
